FAMILY & EDUCATION PLANNING

Plan Schools & Scholarships

Use a structured approach to choose a school that fits the child and to search for scholarship opportunities through official sources rather than social-media claims.

Scholarship dates, eligibility, funding value, service bonds and covered programmes change. Always check the provider’s current official page before applying.

Five steps for choosing a school

  1. Identify the child’s needs: current level, learning style, teaching language, interests, support needs, health and response to routines.
  2. Set non-negotiables: travel time, total budget, safety, discipline, family values, religious support and before/after-school care.
  3. Build a shortlist of three to five schools across government, government-aided, private, national, international or boarding options as relevant.
  4. Visit and ask the same questions: class environment, teacher communication, arrival/departure safety and support for learners who need extra help.
  5. Choose the best fit for now and set a review date after one term to assess attendance, wellbeing and learning.
